UNLOKET GUEST TERMS OF USE

These Guest Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your interaction with the Unloket AI concierge service (the “Service”) when communicating with a hotel that uses Unloket’s platform.

By sending a message, submitting a request, or otherwise interacting with the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please discontinue use and contact the hotel directly.

 

1. Description of the Service

Unloket provides an AI-powered guest communication platform used by participating hotels.

Through the Service, you may:

• Submit service requests

• Ask for recommendations

• Provide feedback

• Receive automated responses

Unloket operates the technology platform on behalf of the hotel.

 

2. Relationship Between Unloket and the Hotel

The hotel is responsible for:

• Guest services

• Fulfilling requests

• Operational decisions

• Hotel policies

Unloket provides communication technology only.

Unloket is not responsible for the hotel’s performance, services, pricing, or policies.

 

3. AI-Generated Responses

The Service may use artificial intelligence to:

• Generate recommendations

• Provide automated responses

• Route service requests

Important:

• AI-generated responses may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date.

• Recommendations are informational only.

• You should verify critical information directly with hotel staff.

Unloket does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content.

 

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or harmful content

• Transmit malicious code

• Use the Service for spam or marketing

• Attempt to interfere with system security

The hotel or Unloket may suspend access for misuse.

 

5. Messaging and SMS Consent

By interacting via SMS or messaging, you acknowledge:

• Standard carrier message and data rates may apply.

• Message frequency varies.

• You may opt out by following instructions provided (e.g., replying STOP).

You are responsible for ensuring you are authorized to use the phone number provided.

Where required by law, your interaction constitutes consent under applicable telecommunications laws, including:

• Telephone Consumer Protection Act (U.S.)

• Applicable EU ePrivacy regulations

 

6. Privacy

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the Unloket Privacy Policy.

Depending on the context:

• The hotel may act as Data Controller for operational services.

• Unloket may act as a Data Processor on behalf of the hotel.

• Unloket may act as an independent Controller for aggregated, anonymized data used for service improvement.

7. No Professional Advice

The Service may provide suggestions regarding:

• Restaurants

• Transportation

• Activities

• Services

These suggestions are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional, financial, medical, or legal advice.

 

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

Unloket disclaims all warranties, including:

• Accuracy

• Reliability

• Availability

• Fitness for a particular purpose

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
